This is peak #6 for me. It was a pretty easy stroll until the last half mile up to the peak, which was fairly vertical. Not a big problem though. This was also the easiest of my peaks. Nice view out to the ocean. Only a few people on the trail. Very peaceful. Be careful on Ortega Hwy. We passed a downed motorcyclist. A lot of people had already stopped to help. He had collided with a car. Fire/Paramedics on their way. A lot of parking available at 9am. The Candy store across the street from the parking lot is nice for a snack or cold drink after the hike.
