It was a nice day, a bit chilly but that was perfect for the hike. There were a few others on the hike, most heading back to the parking lot as me and my hiking buddy got started around 2pm. We got to the summit around 5, perfect timing for pics of the sun about to set over the Pacific in the distance. It was a bit cloudy, so we couldn't see the ocean. Luckily, we got back to the flat bit of the path by the time it was dark. Though, I would recommend hikers start a little earlier because it was VERY dark! All in all, it took us amateurs about 5.5 hours, including rest stops and the time it took to find the right trail at the fork (it's to the right).
