Trail to scramble was well maintained. Weather was cool and misty. I wouldn't recommend this trail in the middle of summer. Exposed. Last 1/4 mile is a scramble through a drainage. Recommend trekking poles and pants you feel comfortable crab crawling in. Slide down some loose, sandy patches on my behind. Felt safer to slide/ crab crawl at some points than to attempt to remain upright.
