Bugs were not too bad

Snow free

Sitton has become a favorite due to the forgiving terrain (except for the last 1/4 mile, LOL!).  There was a lot of water in the first part of the hike; this trail is usually dry.  Beautiful cover at the base of the hike and Manzanita to the summit.  Great day.

    Glad to see some pics – never been! Subbing Sitton for Baldy as I am my friend’s Hike Guide for her first (my second) 6 Pack! She got off trail on Bernardino then slipped coming down and pulled her hamstring. She REALLY had wanted to do Baldy but it is such a scree field and she’s had slips on stuff like that. After hearing she got a bad pull, she was happy to do Sitton. Looks like a nice little – closer – perch – and I am excited to bag a new peak! Looks like you had a beautiful weather day!
