It's not Spring yet, but that didn't stop the wildflowers from blooming. There were many different ones that were purple, red, orange, yellow and white. As everyone else said the last 1/2 mile was difficult, steep and the trail was slippery with loose rocks. It was all worth it when we reached the top and were able to see the ocean and Catalina. Loved the view. Took the Bear Canyon Ridge on the way back and was rewarded with more views. Trails were marked and easy to follow.
