Snowfields to cross – could be difficult

Dry to start the morning but hit patches of snow and a little ice.  Fallen trees covered parts of the normal trail and enough snow (3ft) in some areas that the trail took its down course.  Hey as long as it goes up you're going to end up at the summit.  Ended up being nice weather, clear and sunny at the peak.  A bit wet and slushy on the way down due to the melting snow in the afternoon.
