Started from Vivian Creek trailhead at 130pm 6/16 and arrived at High Camp around 530pm. There were a few campers there already but plenty of spots up the canyon on the west side of the creek. Started toward the summit around 7am the following morning. A few small snow patches on the switchbacks coming out of High camp but not bad. We opted to just walk straight up most of the way and almost the whole way down. Once you get the through the ridge line there are a few snow fields to cross. There is a well worn path through the snow and it’s easy enough to follow but we did get off course a few times and had to correct. Snow was compact on the way up and slushy on the way down. We were fine with just poles but some folks had spikes and axes. Some had just running shoes, so choose your own adventure! After summit, packed up camp and hiked back. Arrived at car around 530pm.
