What can I say? Wow impressive not only because the amount of snow we encounter but the 13 miles of pure pleasure was brutal.

Driving to the trail head was fairly easy no traffic once at the fire station i asked the firefighter for parking directions. We parked and i didnt see any snow but i figured ” im taking the spikes just in case” and boy was i correct. First two miles are a bit rocky but doable alot of elevation real fast views where outstanding those 2 miles. Once on the fire road we encounter snow so i was happy i brought the spikes. First a little bit of snow and then ufff insane amount. It was nice roxy my dog was having a hell of a time running jumping eating snow. I told her settle down youre going to tire out but was i listen to? No oh well we managed to pass 3 hikers passing the 4th mile point then a little ahead one more hiker. Almost to the end we were dragging with so much snow but once we saw the tower our second wind activated. Once at the tower we took some video and some pictures. We decided to rest a bit before heading back 30 mins later the hikers we passed reached the summit. On our way down it was fairly easy since is down hill. We decides to burry our selfs in the snow and play a little. But we we dreading it we needed it to end but it didnt seem to end. At the end of it all we managed to get to the car and we headed home. Overall amazing beat conquered now we will master ????
