Snow:

Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

Did this hike during the first February storms when I thought there would be snow, so of course I rushed out there when I knew snow levels had dropped below 2000ft in the area. I was not disappointed!  Patches of snow in the parking lot and pretty much the whole way up!  By the time we got to the fire road the trail was completely covered. Is snowed several times, sometimes very hard!  So hard that our tracks up were almost covered by the time we went back down!  Conditions at the top around 1130am, according to my Garmin, 30 with 16mph winds, feels like 17.  Perfect hiking weather!😁
