I started my hike at 6:30am and I did not expect there to be too many bugs. A mile in I had to put on my headnet. The bugs kept me company all the way to Kelly Camp. It was a weekday so I had the trail all to myself from the saddle to the peak and back. There were more downed trees from the last time I was here. They made for good hurdling.
