It was nice to get the steepest Utah hike checked off the list! We got to the trailhead around 7:45 AM and we had to park up the street a little because it was already full. It is nearly all uphill with some relief as far as it not being nearly as steep in the middle of the hike. The last ⅓ of the hike is rocky and, yes, steep! Having said that, the hiking conditions were prime! I don't think it got out of the 70s and it remained overcast without even a threatening rain cloud. I think the wildflowers already peaked but there were still plenty there to be seen. It was still beautiful and green. Somehow we missed seeing a bull moose that everyone before and after us saw. Phenomenal 360° view at the top!
