Wonderful trip! We went early, and the first portion was shaded. There were a couple of forks in the trail that weren't marked, so we had to get out the map on our phones. We accidentally went right for a while on the trail to strawberry meadow, and this was a lovely easy trail. We ran into a group who set us right, and we turned back around. I would like to go back sometime to explore that trail. The last section is challenging, but overall very nice. There was a hiker at the top who had brought the strawberries to share, which was a wonderful treat. Wish I would have gotten his name! Thank you if you are on this forum!
