Nice clear day for this hike! It was much easier than the first time we did this one, and very enjoyable. Wish there were more pine trees on the hike instead of watching them on the other side of the mountain, but it is still a very nice hike! There is one tall standing burnt tree trunk that is one of our favorite spots to stop for a picture on the goat trail. Views are very pretty of surrounding mountains, and there were a handful of deer hunters out on the trail. Of course, we had to enjoy some delicious strawberries on top of strawberry peak! Lots of friendly people on the trail also, which made it all the more enjoyable!
