We saw a pretty big black bear, but we didn’t bother him and he didn’t bother us. Still, bring a bear whistle and give lots if space to the wild creatures.
The hike was great. There are options to make it more or less strenuous, depending on what you like. Given that the trail has lots of gravel and sand, it was well maintained and lots of fun.
