I know that this is called Strawberry Peak because it resembles an upside-down strawberry. For those of us on this hike, it took a bit of imagination to see it. The last part of the trail is fully exposed and a bit on the steep side so I was glad we were there early and on a day that was still on the cooler side. Would have been difficult in the blazing heat. Bring water. Views were much better than expected and once you get far enough from the highway, you can truly experience the quiet and solitude.
