It was a perfect day for hiking with cloud cover and temperatures in the 50s/60s. The wind storm the previous week had left quite a but of debris on some parts of the trail, but nothing that impacted the hike or posed any dangers. My hiking partner and I actually tracked it as 8 full miles and we took about 3 and a half hours total. This trail is always a physical and mental challenge at the end with the scrambling and multiple false summits, but we ended our hike feeling energized and refreshed. It was a prefect day of hiking in the Angeles Forest!
