Went out for Strawberry Peak starting at Redbox. The trail is pretty straightforward and easy to navigate. There were some small fallen trees along the path but nothing that was not navigable. People aren’t kidding when they mention the false peaks. We came up on the first and pretty much knew it was a false one, but that second false peak is a heartbreaker. It’s as if they kept saying just kidding (jk)- hence the name from me as the JK trail.

We started at 6:30a and finished up about 9:45a. We had a quick break at the top to rehydrate and take pics and then turned right back around for some trail running- on the runnable portions.
