Arrived at 630 am on a Sunday morning and shocker, we weren’t alone. I would guess there were 30-40 vehicles already there. Plenty of available parking though. So up we go on the fire road from Manker, nice easy stroll. Got to the top of the ski lifts with very little effort. At this point, I felt great. Well that lasted for about 30 minutes after we left the lift area. I struggled the rest of the ascent especially the last half hour or so. The trail was completely snow-free and no issues following the trail but I might’ve been faster had I crawled. Total time to top 4 hours, 1 hour at top and almost 3 down via ski hut trail. I highly recommend trekking poles especially for the descent down ski hut. Overall, a great day!
