Finally a perfect hiking day. The trail was in good condition. It was a fairly technical hike. Rocky with a few fallen trees that had been sawed away to open the path. Parking at Mitchell Canyon was challenging. Make sure to get there before 9am to get a spot.

It was a long hard hike up. Taking the fire road down was  a relief. We saw many other hikers and even a group from Social Hikers.
