The weather was perfect for a San Jacinto climb on Saturday, April 21st! The sun was out all day with a nice cool breeze that made the continuous climb enjoyable! I had the pleasure of sharing the day with two amazingly strong ladies, Francine and Fabienne! Though there were a few spots of snow, the trails were clear and easily passable. We met a group of hikers who were accompanying a gentlemen who was on his 97th summit to San Jacinto. His plan was to hit the summit for the 100th time on his birthday in June! Along our trek to the top we also met and talked to hikers from Switzerland and Germany! Meeting some amazing people is quite often my favorite part of any hike! Onward, forward…one last peak before I complete the eight!!!
