Beautiful day on Sutton! Wasn’t looking too promising as the fog was thick, but by the time we arrived at summit, it had cleared and the views were epic! A red and white pup followed us the whole way, providing a sense of peace while hiking for an hour and a half in the dark. (Ranchers pup for the livestock on the land.) We started about 6am and finished about 10:45. Took advantage of clear views and took tons of pictures. Lots of ice and lots of mud, we brought different shoes to change into because our hikers got covered. Seen a bobcat on the drive there and lots of elk prints, but nothing on the trail.
