We started early, which led to a cool, beautiful, misty hike. We started around 0715 which isn’t too early for me but may be for some. Not too much traffic, just a few people. We kept discussing how gradual the elevation was until the final decent. Straight up the last bit, which made it more challenging more on the way down. Once we were to the top, we were so happy being above the cloud coverage. Gorgeous. Then on the way down, the sun broke and we enjoyed sunny paths, green and breathtaking wildflowers. Even the creek was clear. We definitely recommend watching the signage. It is easy to make a wrong turn which could lead to miles in the wrong way,
