Switchbacks are making me Bonanza!

Trailhead:

Bonanza Trail

Type of Hike:

Day hike

Trail Conditions:

Minor obstacles posing few problems

ROAD:

Road recommended for high clearance only

Bugs:

Bugs were an annoyance

Snow:

Snow free

The toughest part of this hike was the rocky road leading up to the trailhead! You need to be in a high clearance vehicle! My best friend and I did it in a Chevy Spark and I held my breath the entire time! The trail was straight forward and simple to navigate. There are trees that have fallen over, but they are easy to climb over or around. There are A LOT of switchbacks on this trail! 6x the amount on the well trafficked Mary Jane Falls trail in Kyle Canyon. But this was a nice peak to conquer after the more difficult Mummy Mountain!
