This hike is always so difficult to finish!  Our group spent the night in San Bernardino so we could get a little more sleep before heading to the trailhead.  Got to the lot at about 05:20 and it was nearly full!  Crazy how early people are getting up and hiking!  Just keeps getting more and more crowded.  There were 6 in our group and 2 of the gals turned around at the second camp due to some altitude sickness symptoms.  The first mile and the last two to the summit are just so difficult and long!  4 of us sumitted but it took about 6 1/2 hours to reach the summit and 4 1/2 hours to get back to the car.  The weather was very nice and not too hot.  Lots and lots of hikers!
