Best hike this year. The gate at the trailhead didn't open until 7am, so we had to park a 1/2 mile out and walk in. Total length of trip was just under 17 miles, this includes that one spot where we forgot to turn left and went on a scenic stroll for about a 1/2 mile. Back tracked and found our way back on trail. Ran into several nice folks. Overall not too many people and all of them practiced social distancing. The view on the peak was stunning and made me feel extremely lucky to have this piece of heaven in my backyard. We will definitely summit Diablo again, maybe multiple times across the various routes to the top.
