Did Cucamonga -> Bighorn -> Ontario as a long run.
Another temperature inversion led to some beautiful views.
I took Icehouse trail to the saddle and stayed on the main trail up to Cucamonga. I then returned to “cucamonga” saddle, before going “off-trail” up to Bighorn, before continuing over to Ontario Peak. After that I followed the main trails all the way back to the trailhead.
It took 5 hours for the 16.4 miles and 5556ft of elevation gain. I think the other direction might be easier (I did that several years ago), as going down the back of bighorn is definitely easier than going up it with how steep and soft things can be.
