So I have a thing about not hiking anywhere that your wheels can take you. Why would I do that! However my best hiking friend is quite motivated to bag six peaks, and this one was on her list. I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this trail west says it meandered through the canyons with wildflowers and moments of shade. The “to many people” on the trail really didn’t bother me. I was curious about the biting flies-ouch. I had no idea that there was a restaurant on top and my friend ate a hotdog and ice cream. Definitely a “make a memory” day.
