We started the hike just after 5am on a Thursday. We didn’t run into any other people until we were on our way down. That gave us the opportunity to enjoy all the beauty to ourselves! We even got to see tons of hot air balloons in the sky!

The hike was shaded for about 1/3 of the way up given we started so early. There were diamonds pointing us in the right direction, but at times they was a good distance between them leading us to get off trail a few times. All in all, the hike ended up being 5.62 miles with our added scenic routes. 🤦🏽‍♀️

The views throughout the hike were breathtaking, but the end left a lot to be desired. It was a great workout though with beautiful views of Sedona!
