There are three, separated areas to park in for the Deer Springs Trailhead. After two false starts we were off in the right direction. It was a beautiful dewy morning. We were lucky that by the time we made it to the peak most of the clouds had moved on. We did pop onto the wrong trail at one point and turned our would be 16 mile trek into a 21+ mile trip leaving us a bit achier than we had hoped! We did hit 6,001 feet in elevation which was fun though!
