Perfect day to tackle the beast… toughest one of the 6 by a mile. Think Camelback on steroids times 3. Quad burner. First mile is a nice walk, then it begins, once thru the granite canyon it goes up and up and up. Stay to the left on the way up, can avoid a nasty chute this way, then wall is ok at the top but go to the right. Go on a cool day and plan 5 hrs + anytime at the top. Glad this is off the bucket list….
