Epic final hike of all six Nor Cal peaks. Great fall foliage by Alameda Creek and Little Yosemite, but no water in Little Yosemite this late in the year and drought cycle. Barely saw anyone throughout the trail, but ran into some folks at Rose Peak. This hike is longer, but not harder than Mount Sizer. Took about 8 hours for the 18+ miles.

  1. Congrats on tackling this beast. Finished my #5 / Mt Sizer yesterday but seems everyone feels Rose is the hardest (obvi the longest).

Curious which trailhead you started at as there are three to choose from . Thinking I’ll do Sunol? Thanks for any feedback!

    1. Started from Sunol Regional Park and chose the trail that includes Little Yosemite, which should have more water flowing now than a month ago. GL on the hike!
