Feeling of accomplishment after completing this 13 mi hike. Even though it was late October and forecasted weather of 60 degrees, I felt overdressed in layers (insulated jacket, long sleeve quick dry shirt, and t-shirt) dragging myself up those 6+ strenuous miles to the lookout tower.

Started about 8:30a, took an hour break for lunch and enjoying the views at the top; made it back to the trailhead about 5pm. All in all, it was a great hike. Lessons for me, to hydrate more before and during the hike.
