Volcan mountain

This hike is one of my favorites. The plan here was to get there at least at 7 am to start our ascend but things don't always go as planned. We got there around 8 but it wasn't a problem. Once we got to the trail for once on a Tuesday there was someone else before me.

I contemplated taking crampons but I figure the altitude is not that high so I should be fine don't think any snow will be at the summit.

It was a windy day, like super windy I recorded at the summit 20 mile winds. It was cold and windy, I did not expected the wind so I didn't prepare a wind breaker with me, negligence from my part. It didn't matter the jacket I took was pretty stacked. I sweated so much in this hike.

Last year by this day Volcan would of had a bunch of snow to play with but unfortunately it's a dry season at the moment pretty sad to be honest, Volcan is so beautiful with a layer of snow or with spring colors. Before we summit it we saw the person who beat us to the trail we turn towards the view point by the binoculars and he passed us then. We rested at this spot for a bit to take in all the views and get a break from the wind but no luck. We then summit and rested at the bench at the top. It was a windy day and I didn't really took alot of footage of Volcan. I got some cool shots and left we couldn't enjoy it with the wind.

Overall Volcan is a great hike for anyone do it.
