I absolutely love this hike. I’ve been dying to get back to the White Mountains since the first time I hiked the eastern Pemi loop in 2017. So happy I finally made it to Lincoln. This hike is challenging and beautiful. The numerous water crossings on Falling Waters trail are wild right now due to excessive rain fall the river is up to calf height in some spots with rushing current. You will get wet. I hiked a slower pace than usual due to some trail traffic, a whole lot of reverence, and an effort to pay mindful attention to my breath. There’s nothing else like spreading your arms in the wind on the ridge line. Much gratitude.
