The trail from Forsee Creek to Trail Fork Springs is in bad shape. Avalanche debris after the fire from som years ago made for several stretches around Jackstraw Campground where scrambling over dead trees was the only way forward. Not particularly dangerous, but navigation skills are essential. Jackstraw Campground may have completely disappeared. There still was water at Trail Fork Springs (this was 7/25). It may never have dried up this year. The next day I hiked to San Bernadino via San Bernadino East. This section is beautiful and very quiet. I might add Anderson Peak next year. The hike back down was again a good amount of scrambling.
