It was a great day!
A much needed day of hiking and laughter! When you look at photos after you’re home and you find yourself laughing so hard you are crying, you KNOW it was a good day! 
We tested our land navigation skills on a new route and learned about “Spurs” and “Bushwacking” hmmmmm, I am going to need some time to process this! There were times we truly became ”one with the trail, brush, rocks, manzanita and sharp yucca!” I think we provided the native creatures some great entertainment! All in all, 10.6 miles and 2,200’ of elevation gain.
