Fun hike! 7.5 Miles, 2609 feet elevation gain, to 6165 feet. The road is closed just past Red Box parking, but there is still access to the trail. It's a mellow hike for the first 2.5 miles, then a steep ascent for the remainder (over a few false peaks….worth it)!
