Nice, semi-quick hike for a mid-day hike. Beautiful, sunny day with temps in the upper 50s, made this a very pleasant hike.
The trail starts off very nicely, with a very low grade incline. When you hit the saddle, that’s when you start to realize, “this could be a bit of a challenge“. As you look up to the peak, it doesn’t appear to be too difficult; this is where you need to know your limits. It made be think twice. There are very steep parts where you’re literally rock climbing. But you will feel rewarded when you get to the top and have 360° views in the entire city. Coming down is not as bad, I think because you feel so accomplished making it up????
