Had a great hike up Bear Mountain today with my fellow challengers (aka my kiddos Joshua (5), Benjamin (6), David (9), and my hubby). Weather was on the warm side but the cool breeze at the top was refreshing. Trail is easy to follow with little white markers all the way up, and there was never a point without an incredible view! The rescue mentioned in the title was not one of ours (thank goodness!), but we did get to see the Air Rescue crew in action! All were ok and made it safely to the bottom. One down, five to go!
