We did the loop counter clockwise, starting the trail around 9:30am, the weather was beautiful and the trail conditions were great, a few mud puddles, but easily avoided. The way up is a lot of work, and really slowed us down, but we got there and then made killer time on the fire roads down. All in all a great hike, highly recommended, especially in a few weeks when the wildflowers really start to come in.
