First time to Mt. Greylock and hiking on it. It was steady uphill from the get go for about 2 miles at which point an open view suddenly appears. It continues on Appalachian Trail at 2.4 miles to the summit for 0.4 mile. The view on the summit was spectacular and the Berkshire was beautiful. Took the Cheshire Harbor trail on the way down for about 3.5 miles. I think the Gould Trail is better.
