This was such a tragically beautiful hike, one I wished I'd done before the El Dorado Fire completely changed the landscape.

The round off the six pack and a week after Whitney it was time to bag a new 10er! It also saw my first rattlesnake of the summer, meaning for me the hiking window was coming to a close or at least a readjustment.

There isn't much to say about this one, aside from I wished I'd done it before the fire. Views were still something truly special and I closed my eyes and imaged what it was like before the fire.

I will say this. It's not for the faint-hearted. It's a long hike, that at times is grueling. Pack plenty of water.

The summit can somewhat be easily missed, so if you think you are at the summit. You probably are.

I'm now in bonus time for the rest of the year!!
