I left early to try an catch the last of the Perseids meteor shower. However, I saw more shooting stars on my drive there, then I did on my actual hike up. It was still cool and there were a number of people already up at 5 AM.
This was my first time up Mount Wilson, and it was a well-maintained and marked trail.
The bathroom up on top was a nice surprise. I happen to be there while the maintenance person was cleaning it. I also found the area to refill water.
Overall, great trail and I am definitely going back!
