Dramatic, unique landscape, unlike anywhere else. Beyond the tree line, sharp, bold, jutting rocks right out of Middle Earth or something.

Did the climb clockwise, with a steeper ascent (past ski hut), in an attempt to save my joints on the way down a more gradual path (via resort). Very challenging on the way up, taking many mini-stops to catch my breath. Fantastic hike though.
