It was an absolutely beautiful day for a hike! Not too hot, but plenty of sun. I’ve never hiked Piestewa so I wasn’t sure what I was getting into. I definitely underestimating the hike a bit but ended up loving it. There was a lot of loose rock on the trail so it’s worth noting that hiking shoes would be ideal.
Since the hike up took me longer than I expected, I decided to run down the mountain. Certainly need to be careful and make sure you have some experience in trail running, but it was a great way to finish off this hike!
