After attempting the Cucamonga Peak earlier in the morning, we were not able to make it because of the amount of snow.
Kevin and I decided to go hit an easy peak that we knew didn’t have any snow. So we went to Mount Wilson. Totally underestimated that one.

We started the hike at 2:30 in the afternoon and didn’t hit the peak until 9 PM. We both looked at each other and said we are going to finish this one way or the other. The trail was relentless, but we stayed after it and made it to the top.

no animals were spotted until the sun went down Where are we seeing owls fine, picked up several quail and encountered a fox on the trail.  It was beautiful looking into the valley at all the lights.

  1. Mt Wilson is always one to kick someone’s butt. We summited Cucamonga yesterday. The last 2 miles too hours. It was difficult. Only us and another group made it or even attempted it. Good job finishing.
