I drove down from the LA area to hike Volcan. I’ve always enjoyed this one. It was a clear beautiful day with very few people on the trail. This was my first hike in several months and had just recovered from a cold so it was not as fast as usual, but a great hike as usual. Stopped into nearby Julian after for pie, a sandwich and a beer. A great way to spend the day.
