Started before the sunrise but the moon was very bright so it really didn’t matter. Took the main trail up and Four Oaks trail down.  This was my first time hiking this peak and it was much easier than I expected.  Loved the views and the scenery.  We saw a small patch of snow which was novel.  At the peak there was a small forest that we explored.   We saw a busy woodpecker making holes in a tree.
On the way down we took Four Oaks trail and the manzanita trees were in bloom which was lovely but there were lots of bees.  Glad to have gone and will definitely be returning again!
