It was a spectacular way to welcome the new year – a short and sweet hike! But it was the first of two that day, with Hot Springs Mountain being the second one on the agenda, with Philip.
Mostly snow-free, people-free and generally uneventful hike. We took Volcan Mountain Trail up and then the Five Oaks Trail down, so it was never boring.
On to Hot Springs!
