Beautiful day. Temperatures in the 70s with a cooling breeze. Wildflowers were blooming. The trail was not completely shaded but shaded in spots through most of the climb. Coming back I took the five Oaks Trail. It’s a short side trail which I felt was nicer. It only added 0.2 miles.
